Most likeable London team.
I'd say Millwall. History runs deep into the very heart but most of them I'd have a pint with.similar in loads of ways to us.

Re: Most likeable London team.
Ron Greenwood was a Brentford fan.

Harry Redknapp was a boyhood Arsenal fan.

Strangely, for me, this works out as a plus for Brentford, and a minus for Arsenal.

Fulham

Good pubs either side of Putney Bridge

Bishops Park which is lovely and has a memorial to the international brigade who volunteered to fight in the Spanish Civil War

Craven Cottage - one of the last proper football grounds which will remain because the Stevenage Road stand is Grade I listed

Also Dulwich Hamlet

Re: Most likeable London team.
living over this way makes me laugh how fulham try to claim chelsea rivalry and ignore qpr and brentford and vice versa

I like the qpr lot generally good lads and they realise what deep financial shit they are in but still turn up- play football with a couple fo them and on friday i didnt say anything about Mclaren as their new manager just patted them on the back and said ' he wont be around long.."

Brentford have got a spanking new stadium in development so could well be the newest club that everyone "likes"

I live quiet close to Fulham and their fans are OK. Much nicer than those squatters in blue in their borough. Nice boozers on the river in Putney. And usually a 6 to 4 pointer for us.

Tottenham for me.

I love the way they play good football but win fuck all....

Re: Most likeable London team.
Take off C&B specs (as is the only way to answer such a daft question), and it's now an easy one. Our mantle as "everyone's second favourite team" has been well and truly destroyed by the Dildos. It's one of their biggest "achievements".

If you took a poll (among ALL football fans, young and old) and ignored their own allegiance, the answer would be: Arsenal.

Polls on 90min.com and some Everton fansite came to that conclusion in recent years. Whatever.

That's possibly a too-sensible answer for WHO.

Re: Most likeable London team.
If the question were rephrased "which team play the most entertaining football at the moment?" it has to be Spurs. Which makes them even more detestable of course.

At least it keeps the site ticking over, even if it is a wind-up.

People moan when there's shit posted then moan when no shit is posted; here's the solution - start threads of your own about subjects important to you and get the debates going.

This is a wind up though isnt it?

Any old iron
A wind up was all it was just to start a reaction.Nothing in it really.
Don't get too grumpy about it FFS.
Most of the time I post all things West Ham football related.

Very poor attempt at a windup.

There are some real arseholes on this site nowadays but you are starting to come out on top.

In terms of other londahn firms, ive always held a soft spot for and highly rated the wombles, of wimbledon common.

Their top boy - uncle orinoco flow - is a right lunatic handful. He carries a full resealable packet of breaded wiltshire ham, and he is a right old cor lovver duck cockney. He is so fucking completely london cockñey that he carries a fully stringed violin and has a majestic goose like beak.

His little firm of other womble top boys are for me the most likeable of all the 1970s massive sinister adult size puppet firms.

A few times theyve had it with the muppet lot, from jim hensons workshop. Theyve proper done em every time.

A few years ago they had a tear up down at fraggle rock. Puppa fraggle got his fraggle kisser kicked in shitless and had his orange hair cut off with big scissas.

Say no more.

For me - only the fucking flumps come near them.

How could anyone dislike a club which plays at The Old Spotted Dog Ground in Forest Gate.

My vote goes to Clapton FC.

Re: Most likeable London team.
I grew up in Leytonstone and my grandad was an O’s fan so Leyton Orient, all that OS bollocks from Hearn meant fuck all to me. I have a mutual respect for Millwall as the fan bases are so similar but wouldn’t go as far as likeable.

Re: Most likeable London team.
Used to quite like Fulham but them trying to sue us like a bunch of sore loser cunts soured this.

Never used to mind QPR until they caught billy big bollocks and the Redknapp connection.

Perhaps Brentford are least offensive. Don't like any of them though.

Been to Brentford a few times. Always a good drink in one of the many pubs within a short walk of the ground. Good atmosphere and a very tasty bird dispensing the Bovril last time I was there.
